Abstract
These photographs were created by photographer Dr. Thomas Marquis, a physician and author, who lived on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in the early 20th century. The collection was divided into three sets prior to the purchase of the original negatives by the Buffalo Bill Memorial Association in 1999.
